West Ham United are chasing Bournemouth left-back Jordan Zemura, who was released at the weekend due to his contract status. 90 minutes understands.
The 23-year-old has been one of the Cherries’ more impressive players during a difficult run of results but was left out of the squad that beat Liverpool 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Manager Gary O’Neill told The Daily Echo On his absence: “Just an internal decision that JZ shouldn’t be in the squad today on match day. So that was all really.
“I don’t want to go into details.”

Emerson Palmieri and Aaron Cresswell are currently West Ham’s left-back options, with the former displacing the club’s longest serving player as first choice David Moyes.
Finding a long-term replacement for the 33-year-old Cresswell is seen as one of the club’s top priorities, but results on the pitch are of greater concern after Sunday. 1-1 draw with Aston Villa leaving West Ham just outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
